Bonded with Drucilla
Hi, I'm Daisy. Not your typical tortie. My sister Drucilla. and I have been very well behaved colony cats for the last two years. Unfortunately, we got overlooked as rescue candidates before because living outside as we were, we were always interested in safety first, and we weren't very good at letting the colony managers see how social we really are. We were glad to see them each day, and of course, appreciated their fresh meals, but we could never be too sure who meant us harm and who was looking out for out best interest, so we just kept our distance to be on the safe side. I like to linger close to my colony caregivers, just not too close. Dru always followed my lead.
The rescue gals wanted to make sure we were healthy and that our vaccinations were up-to-date, so they kinda tricked us into this trap-thingy, which seemed awful at the start, but as soon as we figured out this means we could be scratched and cuddled and loved upon, well... that's all we needed to know. Dru and I aren't going back to the colony. We'd prefer to come home to you! We're very smart, extremely well mannered, and we're just itching to provide you with endless hours of lap warming and comic entertainment. Even though we lived outside, Dru and I have never, ever been separated. We stayed together at all times, and we'd like to keep it that way. So, please consider us as a pair. We'll keep each other amused when you're away and provide you with double the companionship and affection when you're home.
