Axel is a second-chance kitty. His condition and behavior indicate that he was abandoned, but it's not possible to tell how long ago. Despite this, he's an exceptionally docile and physically affectionate cat - a true lovebug. It was a tremendous blow for us to learn that Axel is FIV+. What does this mean?
FIV is not transmissible to other species or people - only cat-to-cat and, even then, generally only via bites and scratches. It So Axel is a supremely adoptable cat who deserves a warm and happy home. He just needs to live with someone who either a) does not already have a cat who could potentially be infected or b) already has another FIV+ cat.
Axel is not by any means unwell, and with routine care, he's likely to lead a long and devoted life with a human companion. Can you be Axel's second chance? If you think you can provide a temporary or permanent home for Axel and would like more information, please contact us at email@example.com. Love and biscuits, from Axel.
(Axel can be fearful of exuberant dogs.)

Hey, we get it. The concept of an FIV+ kitty may be a tad bit uncomfortable or even scary to think about, but honestly, a positive FIV test isn't a game-ender, particularly not for a prince like Axel. But let's take this opportunity to talk about it. Not just for Axel's sake, but for every FIV+ fabu-cat out there waiting for a home. So, go ahead... ask Axel what you'd like to know about his condition, his care, his lifestyle, his likes and dislikes. He's a clever conversationalist, and he's got a little time on his paws. Go ahead and submit your question here.
